Porsche is recalling 2,941 electric Macan SUVs from 2024-2025 due to overly bright headlights that exceed U.S. safety standards. The issue stems from headlight software programmed to European regulations, affecting all recalled vehicles. Owners must visit dealerships for a free fix as the issue cannot be resolved via over-the-air updates. Notifications begin January 2025. The Macan Electric remains a milestone in Porsche’s EV transition, set to go fully electric by 2026.
