Pros: Faster home charging time due to smaller battery.

EV Incentives & Policies
In the U.S., consumers can receive up to $7,500 in federal tax credits for purchasing new electric vehicles (EVs), with additional state incentives available, such as California's rebate program that can add up to $5,000.
The federal EV tax credit is available only to individuals with modified adjusted gross incomes below $150,000 (single), $300,000 (joint), or $225,000 (head of household).
Eligible vehicles must be assembled in North America, and by 2024, at least 60% of their battery components must also be sourced from North America.
